When Things Are Not As They Seem...

I've been trying to figure out how to formulate this blog without telling a very lengthy story, and I've decided rather than words, silence is more appropriate.

Suffice it to say, the next time I blog, I hope many things will have changed and I will have a happy story to tell you.

In the mean time, prayers for a new situation would be greatly appreciated. If you feel you need more details, I'll tell you with a phone call or you can ask my mother.

Love and peace.

Baseball Goodness...

My Rays kicked some Red Sox butt last night, and that makes me extremely happy :)

Tomorrow, Nathan and I are taking our trek to St. Louis to watch his Cardinals play. I've gotten mom's 35mm zoom lens camera so I can take some close ups of Albert for my husband. Needless to say, he's like a little kid right now, except that his shoulder still hurts...another story...

Sunday we were over at our friend's house and my husband suddenly decided to slide tackle me in their brand new basement. Why he did this, I will never know, but since I'm a Reynolds by nature, I put the boy in a headlock. However, not fully aware of our surroundings, my feet slipped out from under me on their brand new, extremely slick flooring. So my full body weight came down on his neck. I'm only telling this on myself because it was an accident, and since he was the instigator, I don't feel I will be judged too harshly. Anyway, pray for his very speedy recovery because we believe he's pinched a nerve and it's been making him nauseous for a few days now, and he'd really like to watch Albert swing the bat without feeling sick. :) Thanks!

Happy Weekend

Nathan's birthday was Sunday, and since he never blogs...ever...

Saturday we went to see Bolt at the dollar theater (awesome), and then went to eat at Famous Dave's (which was our favorite place in Nashville, and we just got one up here).

Sunday we went to our friend's house and had steak and cake. I'm pretty sure that was the most wonderful steak I've ever eaten.

Since the celebrations ended, Nathan has just enjoyed playing his new baseball videogame while sitting in his new videogame chair, and wearing his Cardinals tshirt underneath one of his two new hoodies and pausing to watch his DVD set of the Cardinals 2006 world series...after reading the stats from all the players on the team from the year he was born on the back of his baseball card set. He tells me that he had a really good birthday.

On a much sweeter note, my wonderful hubby helped me do the dishes last night (his idea, not mine) and went grocery shopping with me tonight (his idea, not mine). I love him.

Yes, Lindsay, we are still pathetically cute, but we're enjoying it until it wears out ;)

I have a day off tomorrow! That's the first scheduled day off I've had in three weeks, and probably the only one I will have for another three weeks, so I'm gonna get lots of things done, and maybe even watch some cartoons! :o)
